LEON COUNTY, Fla. — A 16-year-old boy accused of shooting a victim on Allison Marie Court Street is now facing an adult attempted first degree murder charge.
The State Attorney's Office says Reshard McBride, 16, has been transferred into jail custody after being charged as an adult.
According to court documents, the Leon County Sheriff's Office SPIDER Unit were in the area of Blountstown Street when they saw a red Kia Optima driving erratically on July 10.
The vehicle turned from Allison Marie Court and began to drive northbound onto Blountstown Street towards Tharpe Street.
When the deputies tried to conduct a traffic stop, the vehicle ran the stop sign at Tharpe Street and hit a vehicle driving east. The Kia then hit a marked Tallahassee Police patrol unit and ended up in a ditch on the south side of Tharpe Street.
All of the suspects inside of the Kia then got out of the vehicle and ran. Two of them were caught almost immediately outside the vehicle and two more were caught nearby.
Deputies found the vehicle had been reported stolen to the Tallahassee Police Department the same day and also found three guns in the vehicle.
While the car was fleeing, the Consolidated Dispatch Agency received a 911 call from someone in the area of Allison Marie Court in reference to a shooting which had just occurred. Witnesses told deputies they saw occupants of a red Kia shooting at the victim.
The four occupants of the Kia who were caught were arrested. Three of the occupants are juveniles, two 16-year-old boys and one 17-year-old. A 16-year-old victim had a single, non-life threatening gunshot wound to the lower leg.
They were taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center.
The fourth, 18-year-old Shemar Shorter, was taken to the Leon County Detention Center.
All four teens were originally charged with three counts of possession of firearm by juvenile delinquent, attempted felony murder, grand theft auto, and resisting arrest without violence.
Documents say they all have also previously been convicted of felonies as juveniles.
After being identified as the shooter, McBride is now facing adult charges for attempted first degree murder, possession of a firearm and armed trespassing.
As of Friday, he is being held at the Leon County Detention Facility without bond.
Four teenagers have been arrested for a shooting that happened just minutes after a deadly shooting at The Hub Apartments Wednesday evening.

The Leon County Sheriff's Office is currently looking for two suspects connected to a traffic accident involving a stolen car.
LCSO said the accident happened at about 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Tharpe Street and Bloutnstown Road.
Deputies said an LCSO SPIDER unit spotted a car driving erratically and tried to stop it.
The vehicle continued to drive, running a stop sign and hitting another vehicle, before it hit a Tallahassee Police car and landed in a ditch.
LCSO said no one in the other vehicle or TPD car were injured. They said six suspects ran from the car, which was determined to be stolen. LCSO found three guns inside the vehicle as well.
Deputies were able to catch four suspects and they are actively searching for the other two.
This is a developing story.
Tharpe Street is currently closed as the Leon County Sheriff's Office investigates a traffic accident.
LCSO says Tharpe Street is currently closed at Blountstown Road in both directions as they investigate a crash scene and are urging drivers to use an alternate route.
