TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tallahassee Fire Department says a local cabinet shop has been completely destroyed after an early morning structure fire on Kenai Court.
The fire happened around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday in the 9800 block of Kenai Ct.
Crews from stations 12, 6, 3 and 1 of the Tallahassee Fire Department helped extinguished the fire.
TFD says the first unit on scene found the structure fully involved and began a defensive attack in order to protect surrounding properties.
The building was used as a cabinet shop and the owner stated no one was inside during the fire.
At this time, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Authorities have ruled the building to be a total loss.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Leon County EMS, Chaires-Capitola Volunteer Fire Department, LCSO, and Lake Talquin Utilities all assisted on scene.
