Teen injured in drive-by shooting at Gadsden Arms Apartments, police investigating

QUINCY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Quincy Police Department is actively investigating a shooting that happened Monday night at Gadsden Arms Apartments.

QPD responded to a call in reference to shots fired around 9:11 p.m. at Gadsden Arms Apartments (427 S. Stewart Street) and found a 15-year-old victim shot in his lower right leg.

The victim and witnesses advised police that they were in the parking lot area of the complex lower level when a gray in color sedan, possibly a Honda, drove through the parking lot with its headlights off.

Shortly after, this several shots were fired and the victim was hit.

The victim was treated and released from TMH Monday night. Due to the victim’s age his name is not being released.

No arrests have been made at this time and police are asking that anyone with information about this incident to call Quincy Police Capt. Robert Mixson at (850) 627-0138 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at (850) 574-TIPS.
