Tallahassee Community College is partnering with Second Harvest of the Big Bend to host a free drive-thru distribution event on Wednesday.
The distribution will take place on Wednesday, April 1 at 11 a.m. at the College’s Student Union (Building 35) in parking lot “M,” 444 on Appleyard Drive.
The purpose of this event is to help students and community members during the COVID-19 crises.
“This partnership not only serves as a platform to feed our TCC students, but also aids Second Harvest in its food distribution efforts,” said Marcus Nicolas, Associate Dean, Academic Partnerships & College Success at TCC. “It's a win-win.”
The 1,500 supplemental food kits set to be distributed will include six canned goods, a bag of noodles and two bags of fresh produce.
Organizers say this event is free and open to the public.
