TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Tallahassee Community College has assisted many students with getting their two-year degrees and transferring to a university.

But students may not be aware that their four-year degree can be achieved at TCC for the cheapest price.

Florida Business Daily ranked Tallahassee Community College as having the lowest in-state tuition in Florida for a college that offers four-year degrees.

TCC President Dr. Jim Murdaugh said it's important to be affordable and accessible.

"We work really hard to make sure that those students that do come to us," said Dr. Murdaugh. "Even though we are proud to be as affordable as we are. We have great financial aid options and last year for example, 60 percent of students who graduated from our college, graduated with no student loan debt. None."

Murdaugh also says that student enrollment this year has increased from the numbers in 2018 and looks forward to continue that trend in 2020.
