TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Tallahassee Community College has begun offering emergency funding for TCC students who are facing evictions or foreclosures.

The program is for students currently enrolled in the fall semester at TCC, and the financial aid is for $600 per month, up to a maximum of $1,800 per eligible student.

The deadline to apply is Dec. 17 at noon, with funds being dispersed by Dec. 18, according to a release from TCC.

Thursday’s deadline does not apply to other emergency financial aid grants under the CARES Act, as those are still available and will be dispersed in January, the college said.

To apply, TCC students can access the application form by clicking here or on the MYTCC app.

For more information, students can email housingaid@tcc.fl.edu or by calling 850-201-8590.
