TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Hundreds of protesters are expected Saturday for Tallahassee Community Action Committee's Black Lives Matter Car Caravan Protest of the Tallahassee Police Department.
They'll gather in hopes of police reform and transparency.
TCAC says Saturday's protest will focus on the officer involved shootings of Tony McDade and Mychael Johnson in Tallahassee.
In particular, TCAC is protesting for the removal of police chief Lawrence Revell, a Civilian Review Board rather than a Citizens Review Board, and the release of body and dash camera footage from the recent officer involved shootings.
This is a developing story.
