STEINHATCHEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Taylor County Sheriff's Office is investigating a stabbing at a bar that left one woman dead.
According to TCSO, the stabbing happened Friday at approximately 8 p.m., at Crabbie Dad's Bar and Grill in Steinhatchee.
Police say there was a fight between two women and one of them was stabbed multiple times.
The victim, a 26-year-old mother of two, was transported to Doctors' Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
According to the report, the suspect fled the scene on foot.
After an overnight search with the help of the Perry Police Department and Florida Department of Crrections K-9 teams, the suspect, 47-year-old Nikki Lynn Remedies was found and arrested early Saturday morning.
Remedies was charged with murder.
