TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — With election season finally over, you may be wondering what you can do with your yard signs. One Tallahassee nonprofit is asking you not to through them away.
The Giving Tree is asking for political yard signs to help spread a little positivity post-election.
Regardless of party, donated signs will be painted by kids with positive messages and inspirational quotes attached to them.
"There really is so much to be grateful for," said Carla Sinnadurai with the Giving Tree. "You know, we've all been through a lot this year, but I think it's important that when you're driving to work or you're going through the grind to see these positive messages spread throughout the community and remind us the simple things that really make our world so beautiful."
The Giving Tree specializes in helping kids create art from recycled materials.
