TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Tallahassee city commissioners have voted to cancel this year's Celebrate America July 4th event out of precaution for COVID-19.
The annual event is usually held at Tom Brown Park.
Citing cities around the state that have already canceled their celebrations, commissioners came to a unanimous decision to cancel during a virtual meeting on Wednesday.
