TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tallahassee Urban League is hosting its Annual Giving and Sharing event for 10 families to include over 40 children at the Taylor House. Each family will receive gift cards and food baskets.
This year the Giving and Sharing event also includes Tallahassee Urban League's inaugural Christmas Celebration of Lights on Georgia Street.
With co-host Carolina Oaks Homeowners, the opening ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m., on Monday, Dec. 21 with local elected officials and community partners in attendance.
The lighting celebration and the historic Taylor House decoration exhibit will start at 6:00 p.m. for a walk or drive through.
All citizens that view the light show at the Taylor House can register for $50 gift cards and the grand prize of $250.00.
Visitors will be able to enjoy refreshments and Christmas music.
