TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The tables are set and extra food has been ordered for just about every restaurant in town ahead of this busy weekend.
For Food Glorious Food, graduation season brings in numerous reservations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Kevin Stout, the executive chef and owner of Food Glorious Food, is expecting this weekend to be the largest and busiest they’ve had, as all of FSU and FAMU graduations take place.
Friday afternoon for lunch, Stout said that he had 200 reservations, with another 200 booked for later that night.
“We are really completely booked, but we do tell people you can come in and try to walk in if you want. Or usually, there’s bar seating," said Stout. "We don’t take reservations for the bar seats and you get food at the bar too, so there’s a little bit of room.”
Food Glorious Food won’t be the only restaurant that’s booked this weekend. Many others throughout town will also be serving the graduation crowds.
