TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tallahassee Police Department, along with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, responded o a bomb threat at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity building Monday morning.
According to TPD's TOPS map, authorities responded to the 100 block of East Madison Street around 9:30 a.m. Monday morning for a report of a bomb threat.
ABC 27 reached out to TPD, who said that the building was evacuated when the call came in. The building has since been cleared and employees have been allowed to go back inside.
TPD says that no devices were recovered from the scene.
