Tallahassee Police, Fire Department to be featured on 'Live PD' and 'Live Rescue'

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A&E's original documentary series, “Live PD” is returning to the Big Bend, this time featuring the Tallahassee Police Department as part of the show's season four premiere.

Live PD aims at delivering an "unprecedented look" at policing in America as it happens in real time, live cameras documenting the work of police departments from across the country.

Live PD returns with three new law enforcement agencies for the season four premiere, including the Tallahassee Police Department and the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office.

TPD isn't the only Capital City agency set to be in the spotlight.

The Tallahassee Fire Department is also set to be on A&E's “Live Rescue,” which follows America’s first responders as they put their lives on the line to answer emergency rescue calls.

“Our viewers have been clamoring for the return of new episodes of ‘Live PD’ and ‘Live Rescue,'” said Elaine Frontain Bryant, Executive Vice President and Head of Programming for A&E. “We are pleased to bring back both series with new departments, and to welcome Matt Iseman to the A&E family.”

The Wakulla County Sheriff's office was twice-featured on Live PD's earlier seasons.

Live PD will return for season four on Friday, September 20 at 9 p.m. Live Rescue will return on Monday, September 23 at 9 p.m.
