TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating a pair of shootings over the weekend that sent two people to the hospital.
Police say the first occurred just after 8 p.m. on August 14. They say an adult female victim was shot following a dispute in the 2000 block of Holmes Street.
The second shooting happened at Cancun’s Sports Bar on West Tennessee Street at approximately 12:40 a.m. on August 16. The adult male victim was shot after getting into an altercation with the suspect earlier.
Neither of the victims sustained life-threatening injuries. The incidents are not believed to be related at this time.
TPD says no arrests have been made in either of the cases.
Tallahassee Police investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incidents, but did not speak with an officer on scene, or anyone with information about these cases to please call 850-891-4200. They may also remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 850-574-TIPS.
