TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — One local business is stepping up to help Tallahassee get hand sanitizer.

WellPack Pharmacy is making its own sanitizer to fill the shortage gap.

Roughly 270 containers will be available starting Monday, March 23.

"The whole reason we wanted to do this is, we opened this a year and a half ago," said Kal Patel, the pharmacy manager. "The love that we got from the community has been outstanding. This is a time where we want to be in the front and do as much as we can to help the community in this tough time."

The free bottles of sanitizer can be picked up at the pharmacy from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday at 1624 Capital Circle Northeast.

Limit one per person.
