TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tallahassee Parks and Recreation Department announced on Wednesday that fall youth and adult sports have been canceled.
"Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have continued to evaluate and adjust activities to best protect public health. Taking into account our community's latest COVID-19 trends, the fall youth and adult sports registration period scheduled to begin on Saturday, Sept. 19 has been canceled."
The City Commission will discuss organized sports activities and events such as Winter Festival at its meeting on Sept. 23.
