WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. — A Tallahassee man has been arrested after he was caught on video exposing himself to a woman inside a liquor store.
John Womack, 54, was arrested by the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office.
On May 1, deputies responded to a liquor store in Panacea after a woman reported that Womack had exposed himself to her.
The victim stated that Womack entered the business and initiated conversation with her. According to the victim, he was acting strangely, paced back and forth, walked behind a display, pulled out his private part, and with it exposed stated, "hey, look at this."
The incident was captured on surveillance video at the business.
Once CID Detectives identified Womack, he was interrogated by deputies on July 30.
Womack admitted to entering the liquor store and after reviewing a still photograph taken from the surveillance video of him exposed, stated that he must have just walked out of the bathroom with his private part still out of his pants. He denied asking the female to look at it.
On Wednesday, WCSO contacted the Leon County Sheriff's Office Spider Unit and the Spider Unit arrested Womack at his home in Leon County.
Womack was subsequently turned over to WCSO and he was booked into the Wakulla County Jail.
He is being charged with indecent exposure.
