TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A 72-year-old Tallahassee man has been arrested after he admitted to molesting a 12-year-old child multiple times.
Thomas Allen Grezaffi, 72, has been arrested and charged with two counts of child molestation.
According to court documents, the 12-year-old victim disclosed multiple incidents of molestation by Grezaffi to the Tallahassee Child Protection Team.
The victim told investigators that while Grezaffi and his wife were visiting, she was asleep in the bed with Grezaffi's wife. At some point, Grezaffi's wife woke up and left the room.
That's when the victim said Grezaffi got into the bed and touched the victim's genitals and buttocks underneath the victim's clothes.
Court documents say Grezaffi admitted to the incident during an interview with investigators. He said that he and his wife were visiting the victim's family when the incident occurred.
He told investigators that he was sleeping on the floor while his wife slept in the bed with the victim. When his wife stepped out of the room, Grezaffi admitted that he got into bed with the victim and molested her. He described touching the victim's genitals as a "little rub."
Investigators say the victim also described another incident involving Grezaffi in Orlando. Grezaffi also admitted to this incident, though investigators write the Orange County Sheriff's Office will follow up on the case.
Based on the evidence, Grezaffi was charged with two counts of lewd or lascivious molestation. He is being held in jail on no bond.
