Tallahassee drug trafficking bust results in 3 arrests, seizures of guns and drugs

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tallahassee Police Department seized guns, drugs, and cash in a search warrant served on Wednesday in connection with illegal drug trafficking in the city.

Police served the search warrant at a home in the 1900 block of Ann Arbor Avenue, which resulted in the arrest of three people.

After a search of the home by authorities, they found 40 oxycodone pills, 100 grams of marijuana, two handguns, and $2,000 in cash.

Investigators also found a credit card scanning device and personal identifying information of more than a dozen people, a release from TPD said.

Among those arrested were:

  • Michael Smith, 27, for violation of probation and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Darrell Miller, 27, for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and unlawful possession of a credit card scanning device.
  • Kurstin Hinson, 26, for selling oxycodone, possession of oxycodone with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a drug house.
