TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A church is Tallahassee is raising money to help the homeless stay clean.
Faith Life Church is taking donations to get a portable shower trailer.
That would give people a chance to take a hot shower and clean their clothes.
The pastor says they're ready to start helping the community.
"We wanted to figure out how we could plant ourselves in the actual community. Instead of doing in-reach, we wanted to figure out a creative way to do outreach. Purchasing a trailer, what better way to reach any homeless community within our Tallahassee demographic," said Darius Washington, Pastor of Faith Life Church.
This is just the first step in the Faith Life Launch's 150 initiative.
They want to raise $150,000 within a 150 days.
