SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Suwannee County Sheriff's Office is searching for three suspects wanted in connection to a burglary that occurred at a local gun shop.

Deputies responded to a report of a commercial burglary alarm going off at Lundy’s Guns shop at 3 a.m on Thursday.

When deputies arrived on scene, they found that the store had been burglarized. The store owner was later called to the scene and confirmed that multiple handguns had been stolen.

Suwannee County deputies were also joined on scene by K9 teams from Suwannee and Hamilton correctional institutions who assisted with searching for the suspects.

Authorities say after tracking the suspects to the area of Mussey Avenue and McGee Street, they lost the trail and were not able to locate them.

Deputies say investigators have reviewed surveillance videos from businesses in the area and they believe the three suspects rode bicycles West on 100th Street, before waiting in the S&S Food Store parking lot at the intersection of Bass Road and US 129 for a vehicle to pass before approaching the gun shop. They then fled the area utilizing the same route.

Anyone with information regarding this burglary is asked to contact investigators at 386-362-2222. Callers may choose to remain anonymous.
