TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Students across the country are holding climate strikes, including right here in Tallahassee.
Friday's student led strike is urging the government to develop a climate plan or cancel the US's withdrawal from the Paris Agreement.
Charlotte Stuart-Tilley organized the event. She said stopping climate change is a reachable goal and an important one.
"We have to be mindful on how we are affecting the climate, so being aware is the most important thing and taking action to stop climate change is very pursuable," said Stuart-Tilley.
They're also pushing lawmakers to help lower global emissions by at least 60 percent.
