TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida State University Seminoles are coming into town from all over for the university's homecoming week, celebrating over 165 years since its founding.
Students gathered at Landis Green for the annual Seminole Festival, which is carnival themed. Students got to enjoy carnival rides, free food, games, and music.
Even local businesses came out to show their support for all the business the university pours back into the community.
"So we were asked by FSU about a month ago if we wanted to come and be a vendor and if we wanted to do kind of a donation just to give back to the students," said Graham Snuggs. "And so that's why we're out here giving out free cold brew and some t-shirts as well."
Homecoming festivities will continue Wednesday with Karaoke for a Cause. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. at the Askew Student Life Building.
