TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Houses were not the only thing damaged by Friday's storms.

Athletic facilities were not safe from high winds either.

Friday's storm damage extended to Florida State University. The batter's eye screen is not really standing up the way it's supposed to.

The batter's eye screen sits behind the center field wall at Dick Howser Stadium home of the Florida State baseball team. It was actually originally damaged last weekend.

Remember, last Sunday morning, we had storms roll through. It did topple over a little bit then. Friday morning's storms sent it the way it is right now.

Fortunately, the Florida State baseball team is on the road this weekend.

They are at Virginia so there really isn't a sense of urgency to get it thing upright like it should be.

We did talk to Florida State and they assured us that it will be fixed before Florida State's home game against Stetson on Tuesday.

The company that actually set it up will come out on Monday morning, evaluate the damage, and get it standing upright the way it should be.
