FOUND SAFE: Silver Alert issued for missing 77-year-old woman last seen in Leon County

(WTXL) — The silver alert has been canceled for 77-year-old Lue Anna Bowens. Authrities say she was found safe on late Sunday night.


The Leon County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 77-year-old woman.

On Sunday, the Leon County Sheriff’s Office received a report that 77-year-old Lue Anna Bowens was missing.

Family members say Bowens was last seen in the 6000 block of Ellenmann Lane in Leon County around 11:00 AM.

She is 5'01", 240 pounds with salt and pepper colored hair.

Bowens, who is known by “Anna”, was last seen wearing a light blue t-shirt with “Wells Family Reunion” written on it, dark blue jeans, black shoes, a blue surgical mask, and blue surgical gloves.

She may be traveling in a 2005 tan four-door Honda Accord bearing a Florida breast cancer license tag reading “K H I 0 G.”

Bowens was last known to be traveling in the Marianna area in Jackson County.
