Severe thunderstorm warning issued in Big Bend Area until 5:45 p.m.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the Big Bend area until 5:45 p.m., in central Wakulla County.

A severe thunderstorm was located seven miles northwest of Crawfordville, moving south at 10 mph.

NWS Tallahassee has issued a hazard of 60 mph wind gusts for Crawfordville, Woodville, St. Marks, Wakulla, Sopchoppy, Shadeville, Hyde Park, Wakulla Springs, Arran, Hilliardville, Tully, Panacea, Shell Point, Port Leon, Medart, Wakulla Beach, Buckhorn, Spring Creek, Bethel, and Live Oak Island.
