TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida Division of Emergency Management has confirmed that several employees at the state’s Emergency Operations Center have tested positive for COVID-19.
In a tweet, the agency wrote they've "been conducting biweekly testing at the EOC for several weeks and mandated masks.The Division has had several positives throughout that period."
The agency went on to explain that those individuals who tested positive have been isolated while others continue to be tested.
In addition, the agency has instituted teleworking for employees at the Emergency Operations Center.
