TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tabernacle of Praise hosted one of Second Harvest of the Big Bend's distributions on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Individuals were able to pick up boxes of food, contactless.
"There are a lot of people that are suffering from unemployment and other things," said Ella Pope, a volunteer. "So, people need this now more than ever. People need some hope in their lives. So we love to come and help out the community in any way that we can."
Another truck of food was also delivered at 2 p.m., and more individuals had the opportunity to receive food.
