Search warrant ends with two arrested for over 40 lbs of marijuana, multiple guns

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.(WTXL) — Two men were arrested after police say a search warrant led them to find over 40 pounds of marijuana and illegal guns inside of a Tallahassee home.

The Tallahassee Police Department’s Special Investigations Section in conjunction with its TAC Team conducted a residential search warrant on Saturday.

The search revealed residents were armed with high powered rifles and selling large amounts of marijuana.

Investigators found an AK-47 rifle, an AR-15 rifle with a drum magazine and a 9mm handgun.

Additionally, TPD says over 40 pounds of marijuana were located inside the home along with other drug paraphernalia.

Two suspects were arrested as a result of the search, 22-year-old Kelton Forbes and 24-year-old Javon O'Neal.

Both men are facing numerous charges for trafficking in marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a drug house, possession of synthetic narcotics with intent to sell and possession of ammo/weapon by a Florida delinquent adult felon.
