(WTXL) — With Hurricane Dorian bearing down on Florida, local districts are announcing school closures:

LIBERTY COUNTY, Fla.

All public schools in the Liberty County School District will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 3 as Hurricane Dorian threatens Florida's east coast.

The school board said they will reopen Sept. 4, unless they are notified of impending danger.

HAMILTON COUNTY, Fla.

All public schools in the Hamilton County School District will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 3 as Hurricane Dorian threatens Florida's east coast.

The district said that all schools and normal operations will continue on Wednesday, Sept.r 4, 2019, unless they are notified of impending danger.
