LEON COUNTY, Fla. — We sat down with Leon County school board member Alva Striplin after Superintendent Rocky Hanna's decision Wednesday to get her reaction.
She was extremely vocal at Tuesday's school board meeting when it came to questioning Edulog representative Pat Sarkin. She asked tough questions and says she was not satisfied with the answers.
Striplin says so many people put their hearts and souls into trying to fix the busing problems this week.
She believes Superintendent Hanna did a great job on Wednesday, in finally saying no more.
"We are going to do what we have to do to get back those routes," said Striplin. "So I am sure they are going to be working all night and all weekend long to make sure we're back where we need to be on Monday morning."
Striplin says it's not over yet and she's just hoping on Monday, there will be a huge improvement.
