TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Holiday season is just around the corner and the Salvation Army is ready to continue to give back to those in need in the Tallahassee community.

The Salvation Army Tallahassee location will begin taking applications for Christmas Assistance starting Tuesday at 9 a.m.

Julie Smith, the Social Services Program Coordinator for the Salvation Army in Tallahassee, sends her message to those in need for the holidays this year.

"If you have a need and you need help with your children or you are a senior and you feel like nobody cares, come to the Salvation Army and we're going to make sure that you have a good Christmas," said Smith.

The Salvation Army location on Allen Road is currently looking for volunteers as well. For more information click here.
