Quincy Police arrest man in connection to deadly shooting on West Clark Street

QUINCY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Quincy Police Department announced Thursday that a 19-year-old has been arrested in connection to a deadly shooting on West Clark Street.

On June 30, 2020 at approximately 1:24 a.m., the Quincy Police Department responded to shots fired in the 1000 block of West Clark Street.

Upon arrival, police found a 36-year-old male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Witnesses told police that three black men had walked up to the victim immediately before the shooting. One of the men was described as being “tall” by witnesses.

Wednesday evening, Quincy Police arrested 19-year-old Antron Colston for the June 30 murder. He is being held in the Gadsden County Jail awaiting a first appearance before a judge on homicide and robbery charges.
