Quincy leaders handing out free masks in response to new face mask mandate

GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla.(WTXL) — The City of Quincy officials will be handing out free face masks in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the new Gadsden County face mask mandate.

Mayor Keith Dowdell and City Commissioners will be giving away the masks on Wednesday at the following locations.

Dollar General

  • 11:00am – 1:00pm
  • Dollar General, 315 W. Jefferson Street
  • Commissioner Angela Sapp will be handing out the masks at this location.

Walmart

  • 11:30am – 1:30pm
  • Wal-Mart, 1940 Pat Thomas Parkway
  • Mayor Keith Dowdell will be handing out the masks at this location.

Winn-Dixie

  • 12:00pm – 2:00pm
  • Winn-Dixie, 1632 W. Jefferson Street
  • Commissioner Ronte Harris will be handing out the masks at this location.

All masks are being given away free of charge and are available while supplies last.
