THOMAS COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) — Just like the hand-recount, poll watchers showed up again at the Board of Elections office, along with members of a review party from the Democratic and Republican parties.

While there have been concerns about the count happening through the holiday, elections supervisor Frank Scoggins said they'll be wrapped up by Thanksgiving.

"Everything is going real well right now," said Scoggins. "We've got a good review panel, it's a bi-partisan panel, and we're moving right a long. We started with our absentee by mail ballots, which are the most challenging ones."

This year, Thomas County saw a 78 percent turn out for the election with just over 2,100 votes.
