A woman is behind bars after police say she stabbed a victim multiple times because she was being "mentally bullied."

According to court documents, Tallahassee police responded to South Adams Street in regards to a woman that had been stabbed six times on March 4.

When officers arrived on scene they noticed there was a large amount of blood in the front seat of the victim's vehicle.

Documents say the victim had several puncture wounds on her hands and thighs.

Minutes after officers arrived on scene, the victim was transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

While at the hospital the victim told police that she and 23-year-old Carlly Furtys met the night before the incident at a friend's house.

The victim went on telling officers that on the day of the incident, she and Furtys were riding in her car when Furtys began criticizing her driving.

Police say the victim got frustrated so she pulled over and kicked Furtys out her car.

After being kicked out of the car, Furtys walked around to the drivers side and started stabbing the victim, according to documents.

The victim tried to fight back by laying on her side and kicking the victim, however Furtys continued stabbing her.

Once police finished speaking with the victim they left the hospital and found Furtys walking on West Manatee Street. They say she was easy to spot because she had dried blood on her arms.

When investigators approached Furtys about the incident she stated " You talking about beating me up, you get in my face and pull a knife out... I snapped, you're right, I snapped."

Police say Furtys told them that while she was riding in the car, the victim began making statements about how she should have killed one of their mutual friends.

Futrys said she then began making jokes but the victim thought she was laughing at her. Furtys stated the victim eventually got upset, pulled the car over and made made multiple threats to stab Furtys.

Police say Furtys eventually "snapped and "blacked out" due to the victim's "mental bullying"

At the end of her interview, Furtys also told police "I don't care, I'm ready to go to jail. I did, I did stab her."

Based on the evidence, Furtys was arrested and transported to the Leon County Detention Facility. She is being charged with aggravated battery.
