TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A Quincy man is out on bond after being arrested for repeatedly molesting two children he was living with.
According to court documents, the Tallahassee Police Department received a report that two victims had been involved in a lewd and lascivious incident in January. Investigators learned that both the victims were molested and solicited multiple times by 34-year-old Ernest Williams Jr. while he was living with them in Tallahassee.
Both of the victims were interviewed by investigators and each shared details about the incidents that occurred on different occasions. The first victim told officers that the first time an assault occurred was in the summer of 2018. A few months later, investigators say he began regularly molesting the second victim.
The victims said Williams would ask to use their bodies as a weight and would proceed to touch the victims' private areas when he lifted them up and down like a bench press exercise, according to court documents. Police say each time Williams used the victims' bodies as a weight, he would molest them. The victims also told officers that when Williams would braid their hair, he would rub his genitals against their backs.
During an interview with the second victim, the second victim told police that there was an incident where Williams came into a room and asked the second victim for a goodnight kiss because "he always gives his kids a kiss goodnight." The victim refused and later asked several witnesses about Williams' behavior. According to the second victim, none of the witnesses had ever seen Williams give his own kids a kiss goodnight.
Documents say Williams' actions later escalated to him massaging the second victim's body. On multiple occasions, Williams even gave the second victim money and snacks in exchange for massages, according to documents.
Investigators say Williams had also sent the victims inappropriate messages and took sexual photos of the victims.
Based on the evidence, Williams was arrested and transported to the Leon County Detention Facility on Friday. He is being charged with lewd or lascivious molestation and soliciting a child in sexual contact.
Williams has since gotten out of jail on a $20,000 bond.
