TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating frauds that took place at Walmart and Publix.
TPD’s Financial Crimes Unit is investigating a fraud that took place on July 8 at the Publix on Mahan Drive. TPD says the suspect created an account with the victim’s information and used the credit card to make fraudulent purchases.
The same card was used at Walmart on Apalachee Parkway for almost $3,000.
