TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A Tallahassee woman is behind bars after police say she showed up to a woman's apartment and bit and stabbed her with scissors.

According to the court documents, Tallahassee police responded to the Commons Apartments in regards to a aggravated battery on Jan.20.

When officers arrived on the scene, they noticed the victim was injured and had multiple cuts and wounds.

Documents say the victim was transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital to receive treatment for a cut on her eye brow and puncture wounds on her shoulder and arms.

Officers were able to speak with the victim after she was released from the hospital the same day.

The victim told officers the day before the incident happened, 30-year-old Linda Adam had approached the victim and cursed at her while Adam was on duty as Star Metro bus driver.

While being cursed at, the victim said she ignored the insults and walked away.

On the day of the incident, documents say Adam messaged the victim on social media stating that she was in the parking lot of the victim's apartment complex and sent a photo to show proof.

The victim told officers that when she went outside, Adam immediately began attacking her with scissors.

Officers say the victim tried to fight back to defend herself and while doing so Adam bit her hand to stop her.

The attack went on for minutes until a witness was able to separate the two. After being separated, Adam left the apartment complex.

Days after the incident officers tracked down Adam to speak with her. Officers say Adam denied attacking the victim and showing up to her apartment complex.

After speaking with Adam, officers obtained the security footage from the Commons Apartments.

While looking through the footage officers were able to see Adam's vehicle entering the apartment complex during the time of the incident occurred.

After weeks of investigating, Adam was arrested and transported to the Leon County Detention Center on Thursday. She is being charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Adam has since bonded out.
