VALDOSTA, Ga. — Police are looking for a suspect involved in an armed robbery of a laundromat and taking an undisclosed amount of money.
On Monday, at about 7:00 a.m., the Valdosta Police Department responded to Sud City Laundromat in reference to an armed robbery.
Once on scene, officers were told an unknown African American man (between age late 30-50) entered the business with a gun, then demanded and received an undisclosed amount of money, before leaving the scene in a vehicle.
Valdosta Police Department Person’s Crime Detectives and Crime Scene Technicians from the Valdosta Regional Crime Laboratory responded to the scene to continue the investigation.
No injuries were reported and this appears to be an isolated incident. The case is actively being investigated.
