TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A 22-year-old man has been charged with kidnapping after he stole a car from the Greyhound bus station Friday morning while a person was still inside.

Friday morning at approximately 7:49 a.m., the Tallahassee Police Department responded to a call regarding a stolen vehicle from Greyhound Bus Station on West Tennessee Street with a person still inside the vehicle.

TPD officers quickly found the vehicle as it was driving away from the area and were able to bring the vehicle to a safe stop near the intersection of Magnolia Drive and Apalachee Parkway. Police say the person inside was safely recovered and the suspect, 22-year-old Terrell Henry, was arrested.

Henry has been charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle and kidnapping.

He was transported to the Leon County Detention Facility for processing.
