VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) — Police say a 59-year-old Valdosta man is dead after his vehicle flipped over during a crash on Thursday evening.
According to the Valdosta Police Department, officers responded to a crash in the 800 block of South Patterson Street on Thursday around 6:05 p.m.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the driver of a pickup truck deceased.
Police identified the driver as 59-year-old Tommy Bradford.
The investigation determined Bradford was traveling south on Patterson Street when for unknown reasons he left the roadway and hit several objects.
During the accident, police say the vehicle flipped onto its roof.
VPD says Bradford was not wearing a seat belt during the accident.
At this time, the accident is still under investigation.
