TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Saturday was a jam fest in Havana, as people rocked out to the 8th annual Reggae and Blues Fest.
This year was a little bit different, adding blues music to the mix.
Usually the festival only has reggae music.
Organizers say they mixed the two, so that different cultures could come together and listen to music as one.
The head DJ for the event said this is a great opportunity for others around the area to see Gadsden County.
"Music is something that brings everybody together and we just figured this would be a great way to bring the entire community together. People that live here, we have people from all over the place that lives in Gadsden County and surrounding areas as well, so it's a very prime location for people to come from the state of Georgia and Florida to come right here in Gadsden County." said Dj Dean, host for the Reggae and Blues Fest
