LEON COUNTY, Fla. — Starting next weekend, you can be a part of the Leon County Nature Challenge.
It's easy, just download the free iNaturalist app on your phone and make an account. Then take pictures of plants and animals that you see in the county.
Upload them to the app and identify what you and others have seen.
You can help the county win big.
"The way the challenge is set up is its per citizen and the fact that Tallahassee has a lot of natural areas and a lot of people to get outside I think we are poised to do very well," said Thomas Eason with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation.
There will also be events throughout the week that you can participate in.
