TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A pedestrian has been seriously injured after being hit by a semi-truck in Tallahassee.
The Tallahassee Police Department is currently investigating the traffic crash, which occurred in the 1400 block of Max Drive involving a semi-truck and a pedestrian.
TPD officers and emergency responders were called to the scene at about 6:39 p.m. Friday and immediately provided medical attention to the pedestrian.
Due to the significance of the crash, Traffic Homicide Investigators were called to the scene and assumed the investigation. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
TPD is asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash, but did not speak with an officer on scene, or anyone with information about the accident to please call (850) 891-4200 and ask to speak with the Traffic Homicide Unit. They may also remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.
