TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Capital Circle Northwest was closed from Hartsfield Road to Peddie Drive for several hours after a pedestrian was hit and killed by a car in front of the Home Depot on Capital Circle NW.
The Tallahassee Police Department says the pedestrian has died from their injuries.
TPD says they are investigating the traffic crash which occurred near the 1400 block of Capital Circle Northwest.
TPD and Emergency responders were called to the scene around 2:55 pm Wednesday afternoon for the accident, and immediately provided medical attention to the pedestrian. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
TPD is asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash, but did not speak with an officer on scene or anyone with information about the accident to please call (850) 891-4200 and ask to speak with the Traffic Homicide Unit. They may also remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.
