JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. — Troopers say charges are pending against a man who hit and killed a Marianna man Friday morning.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened on Roaky Creed Road in Jackson County at 5:20 a.m. Friday.
FHP says Charles Coulliette, 45, of Marianna was walking on Roaky Creed Road when he was hit by Kody Gilbert, 21, of Marianna.
Troopers say Coulliette succumbed due to injuries sustained during the accident.
At this time authorities say charges for the driver are pending.
