SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — Authorities say a pedestrian has been airlifted to an area trauma center after being hit by a vehicle on US Highway 90 East.
According to Suwannee Fire Rescue crews, the crash occurred Tuesday morning on US Highway 90 near the golf course.
When crews arrived on scene, they say the pedestrian had to be immediately transported by helicopter to a local trauma center.
Authorities are asking drivers to please use caution if traveling on Highway 90 East.
At this time, officials have not released any additional information.
