TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Career Source Capital Region is planning to connect career seekers and employers virtually next month.
Veterans and their co-dependents are encouraged to register and upload their resume for Career Source's 8th annual Paychecks for Patriots, a virtual hiring fair that will take place on November 17.
This virtual job fair will allow participants to explore multiple opportunities and connect directly with employers here in the Big Bend area.
"It's an event that's catered directly to veterans," said Derrick Sykes, a local Veterans Employment Representative. "These employers are coming with a focus to hire veterans. They are coming in very enthusiastic, and this is just another opportunity for employers and veterans to come together."
The entire job fair will be hosted virtually on an app suitable for desktop and smartphones.
There will also be a virtual ceremony to recognize this year's veteran-friendly employers.
